Join the North Kansas City YMCA in our efforts to eliminate hunger in our community by volunteering at our open food pantry!
Volunteers will not only be helping our community members fill their bellies but they will also be helping provide food that has been intentionally selected for its nutritional quality.
Volunteers in this position will help food pantry participants select food items, track food items dispensed in the community and help create a welcoming environment for all that come in the Y's doors.
This is the first of its kind entity in our YMCA of Greater Kansas City network and we are so excited to be bringing this program to the North Kansas City community! In our first two months of operation, we have served over 3,000 people and food always flys off the shelves as soon as we stock them.
Pantry Hours of Operation are
M, W, F 5-7pm T, Th 8-9 am Sat 9-11 am
