Mercy Hospice

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.

MercyOne Hospice is seeking Veterans and active duty military men and women to join our Veteran-to-Veteran Program. This program offers the companionship of another veteran to a veteran being served by our MercyOne Hospice team. This is an ongoing opportunity where the volunteer would be matched with a veteran hospice patient for routine companionship visits, typically 1-2 hours per visit with 2-5 visits per month (can be more or less depending on patient and volunteer schedules). Volunteers may also assist with the pinning ceremonies in our "We Honor Veterans" program. This is our recognition ceremony for the sacrifices our hospice patients have made through the course of their military service. MercyOne Hospice welcomes your expertise. Our Veterans need your companionship.
