Are you a skilled knitter? Do you have a knack for teaching adults? Then come lead a knitting class at the Albany Public Library's Pine Hills branch!
The class runs every other Thursday from March 13th through May from 3:30pm-5:00pm. All materials are supplied by the library. The volunteer needs to be skilled at knitting and have the ability to lead a group of adults. The class can be designed anyway the volunteer wants!

You can visit the 7 branches for books and DVDs, music and magazines, classes and workshops, computers and Wi-Fi, tutoring and tax assistance, arts activities and technology programs, study spaces and meeting rooms, movie showings and musical performances, book clubs and author talks, and so much more. Volunteering is vital to the health of the library and the community by providing much needed support to the youth and adults who rely on library services. Volunteers gain the skills and knowledge to help with their professional career and personal life. Student volunteers gain community service credit and valuable job experience.
