Due to the Covid 19 Pandeimc our Chrysalis family have struggled to cope with loss, grief, loneliness, depression and more. We would like to begin group counseling sessions. We would like to build out a myriad of topics to offer this service Spring 2022.

A group counselor volunteer will be either a licensed social worker, therapist, counselor or a student studying to become any of the aforementioned. There will be small groups of students or parents who will attend groups once a week in 6 week sessions. Counseling group should cover topics like:

  • Coping with trauma and loss
  • Managing Emotions and Family
  • Anger management
  • Healthy communication
  • Adolescence and body changes
  • Body Awareness
  • Conflict Resolution
