Do you have a fascination for vintage goods? Could you spend hours looking through old photos, letters, newspaper clippings, and other trinkets and treasures? If so, we have the perfect volunteer opportunity for you! SCRAP Creative Reuse is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our mission is to inspire creative reuse and environmentally sustainable behavior by providing educational programs and affordable materials to the community. We are currently looking for volunteers to help us sort, organize, and make beautiful packages out of the many vintage goods that we get donated to us every week.
As if sorting through and admiring timeless treasures wan't enough, our volunteers get 20% off their purchase of donated materials in our retail store. Our volunteers are only asked to commit to a 3 hour shift a week and can schedule their own shifts based on their availability. For more information about our organization or to apply to become a volunteer, visit our website at https://portland.scrapcreativereuse.org
