Habitat for Humanity ReStore North Donation Pick-ups
Thursdays (Ongoing Need)
Our ReStore North in Paso Robles is in need of a few volunteers to help with donation pick-ups on Thursdays. Ideal volunteers are able to lift and move furniture as we travel the county in our Habitat truck. A Habitat staff person will drive and supervise donation pick-ups with 1-2 volunteers each week.
Habitat for Humanity ReStores sell donated new and gently used home improvement items, construction materials, and tools. These stores are a critical part of Habitat and ensure that we can assist very-low and low income families in our County in purchasing a new home or maintaining the home they currently own.

Description
HFHSLOCO was established in 1997 and is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International. San Luis Obispo County is one of the least affordable small metropolitan areas in the nation according to the National Association of Home Builders. The County is in a severe affordable housing crisis as low income workers have extreme difficulty finding affordable homes to live in. To address this housing need, HFHSLOCO uses volunteer labor and tax-deductible donations of money, materials, and services to build homes that are affordable to very-low and low-income families, maintaining the existing affordable housing stock, and revitalize communities through its Neighborhood Revitalization efforts.

- Volunteer shifts last all day on Thursdays. Volunteers can sign-up for one or more days, depending on their availability.
- Please wear closed-toed comfortable shoes and comfortable work clothes. NO dangling jewelry, sleeveless shirts, or open-toed shoes allowed on Habitat projects.
