United Way of Northern Nevada and the Sierra (UWNNS) has a strong volunteer base across multiple sectors who are committed to helping improve lives by working with us to identify the pressing issues facing our community and working collectively to solve them, and we want YOU to join us! We have various volunteer opportunities available to meet your needs and interest.
Volunteers help guide the work of the organization on various committees, plan upcoming fundraising events, and develop relationships in the business community through supporting our workplace campaigns.

Description
United Way of Northern Nevada and the Sierra (UWNNS) has successfully served northern Nevada for more than 75 years. With a goal to increase the number of children in northern Nevada who read proficiently at the end of the third grade, UWNNS concentrates on four key pillars needed to achieve the goal: early development and learning, kindergarten readiness and early literacy, early grade success and strengthening families.
