We are a Christian based organization that provides assistance to individuals at their time of needs. The assistance includes medical and dental care for the uninsured and the underinsured, case management for connection to resources for short term needs and classes for those that can make a commitment to learning how to transition from instability to self-sufficiency using the Bridges Out of Poverty constructs. The Chaplain serves as a support, counselor and guidance for our patients and clients. We have a weekly clinic on Wednesday of each week that begins with a Chaplain and volunteer led devotion and prayer. The volunteer chaplain time commitment would consist of one day a week; Wednesday from 8:30am-1:00pm at our facility addressed at 133 Arbor Hot Springs. Please contact Lynn at 318-1153 or lynn@ccmchs.com

Mission Statement

The CCMC is a non-profit Christian ministry that strives to improve the quality of life of the needy in the Hot Springs area. It does so by providing general medical care to the uninsured, dental and vision services to the under-insured and serving as an advocate for the needy. CCMC collaborates with other organizations and their clients to provide seamless coordination of care of community services. As an act of Christian kindness, CCMC strives to improve physical, spiritual and social well-being while encouraging responsible lifestyles.

Description

CCMC was formed in 1996 with the first date of services 1/28/1997. Since that time we have provided medical services to more than 11,000 unique patients. CCMC provides more than $1 million in medical services to its patient base each year. We operate with a primarily volunteer staff, from physicians, pharmacists to office/clerical help. After the implementation of the Affordable Care Act of 2014, CCMC expanded services to include a long term solution for individuals living at or near poverty. We partnered with the Bridges Out of Poverty communities to provide this unique research based approach to poverty at an individual and community level.
