This year we will be hosting an Earth Day in May celebration at Croydon Woods Nature Preserve on Saturday, May 21st from 10am to 3pm and we are looking for volunteers to help us at the event. This is a community event where we will have tables with various activities and information for people who attend the event to stop by and interact with. We are looking for volunteers to help us with assisting at the various tables. We have half day and full day shifts available, but if you are able to do a full day, we would greatly appreciate it! It should be a really fun event! If you are interested in signing up to volunteer, please contact Melissa at mlee@heritageconservancy.org. Based in Doylestown, PA, and serving Bucks and Montgomery counties, Heritage Conservancy’s mission is to protect and care for the lands of our region; to engage with and share the history that unfolded on these lands; and to connect people with both.

To date, Heritage Conservancy has facilitated the preservation of over 16,000 acres of open space, farmland, wildlife habitat, and important watershed areas in Bucks and Montgomery counties. This preserved land helps to protect water quality and the quality of life for your community. The Conservancy has also had 40 successful nominations to the National Register of Historic Places for historic districts and properties.
