The California Preservation Conference brings more than 600 participants from across the state to learn, network, and share successes. The conference includes over 40 sessions, special events, networking activities, and site tours in and around Palm Springs. The 2019 California Preservation Conference will explore the innovative methods and strategies that architects, designers, planners, local advocates, and others use in the ongoing and perpetual fight to preserve cultural and architectural resources.
Volunteers are needed to help manage the registration table, as docents for tours around the region, to help check badges at special events, and to assist with tech set up and tear down.
Dates: May 8-11 th (set up on the 7 th in the afternoon)
Time: Multiple shifts are available: 8AM - 12:30PM, 12:30PM - 5PM, 5PM-9PM

For more than 40 years, the California Preservation Foundation (CPF) has been the leading state-wide nonprofit dedicated to the protection of California’s diverse cultural heritage and historic places. CPF offers on-site technical assistance and direct support through our Field Services program, and is a nationwide leader in historic preservation education.
