Volunteer to be a friend to a 31 year old woman with disabilities in our Friend 2 Friend Adults with Disabilities Community Program! Friends meet once or twice a month for two to four hours for a year. Meet for a coffee, a meal or an activity. It is such an amazing way to change a life! Jewish and Non-Jewish volunteers please apply!
Jane lives in the Norwood, Westwood, Sharon area in a group home. She would like to be matched to someone close to her age, in their late 20's or 30's. She attends a vocational program and works part-time in a middle school. She is able to take the Ride, use Lyft or Uber to meet her friend. Some of Jane's interests include art, arts and crafts, reading, swimming, cooking, going to the movies. going to football and baseball games, and bowling!
You don't need any special skills to be a friend! Just show up and be a caring person! Volunteer Now!
