No prior tree planting experience is necessary. Tools and equipment will be provided. Min age: 14, with adult supervision. Ages 14 - 16 must be accompanied by an adult, volunteering alongside them. Volunteers less than 18 must have parental co-signature on waiver.

All volunteers must register in advance by completing online registration. Go to this page: https://www.tfaforms.com/4727006%20 for more details and to register. Immediately after registering, each individual will receive an auto-email confirmation with more details.

Mission Statement

Bridging The Gap's mission is to make the Kansas City region sustainable by connecting environment, economy and community.

Description

Bridging The Gap (BTG) educates citizens, businesses and governments about the impact their decisions have on our environment. We help them follow through with direct action to make our world, region and community green, healthy and sustainable.

BTG does this by working to create awareness of our environment and the need to make our communities sustainable at every level and in all life activities -- in homes, workplaces, schools and neighborhoods. In all of our work, we seek to create partnerships among governments, businesses, community leaders and individuals to improve our community by making it healthy and sustainable for our future.
