Event Day Volunteers Needed for Fight for Air Climb

The Fight for Air Climb is a unique athletic and fundraising challenge held at the 191 Peachtree in downtown Atlanta where participants race 51 floors(1200) steps the to the top. The Annual Climb will attract firefighters climbing in full gear and non-firefighters who are motivated and passionate about the cause, as well as enjoy new and challenging athletic events. Climbers with or affected by lung disease unite with friends, family and co-workers for a memorable experience and an opportunity to fundraise for a meaningful cause. Volunteers are needed to help with event logistics.

Volunteers will be assigned tasks such as assisting with registration, monitoring the stairwells, setting up, cleaning up, supporting the vendor village, managing water stations, etc. A mandatory orientation is required for all stairwell monitor positions. Stairwell monitors keep an eye on participants and will have radios to ALA staff and medical team to alert anyone to medical issues.

Volunteers under the age of 18 will need to accompanied by an adult or group chaperone.
