The Community Health Clinic Volunteer Medical Director duties include the review of patient charts on a weekly basis, interpret lab results and make recommendations for patient follow-up care. The Volunteer Medical Director will also maintain clinic policies and procedures and attend four quarterly meetings per year with our volunteer clinical staff.
Requirements:
- Required Texas medical license
- Familiarity with and appreciation for the mission of the Community Health Clinic
- Genuine commitment to work hours and days agreed upon.
Time Requirements:
- 1-2 hours per week.
- Attend four [4] quarterly meetings per year.

The Community Health Clinic exists to provide basic health care and preventative health education to qualifying residents of Collin County.
Description
The Community Health Clinic (CHC) offers basic healthcare for uninsured adults and children living in Northern Collin County who qualify. The vision for CHC was inspired by a dream our founder Mary Nelle had in 1998, which became a reality in 2004 when the doors were opened for CHC. The community’s enthusiasm and involvement helped CHC exceed all expectations. CHC has expanded to offer a full-time clinic for adults and children and continues to deliver excellent care to patients.
