Skilled event photographer needed for our annual fundraising gala! The success of this event (and documenting of it) is vital to sustaining our programming throughout the year.
Experience with portrait with and without flash.
Comfort with shooting in manual setting in low-light, posed and natural shots.

About Urban Dove:
Urban Dove began as an after-school program for at-risk youth in 1998. Since then it has helped thousands of young people learn critical life skills and grow into successful, independent adults. In 2012, Urban Dove used the success of its youth development program to create the UD Team network of high schools serving under-credited students. Through a curriculum centered around sports, youth development, and academics, UD Team reengages students and helps them develop the skills they need to get back on track to graduation, college and careers.
About Evening with the Dove:
The 17th EWD is our largest annual fundraising gala honoring individuals for their outstanding commitment to
young people. This special night celebrates and spotlights the outstanding work of our young people and the
success they have achieved in our programs and schools. We feature hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, a seated dinner, an awards ceremony, and a silent and live auction.

Urban Dove, founded in 1998, is dedicated to improving and enriching the lives of New York City's at-risk youth by creating a supportive, positive environment where kids can develop the life-skills and confidence they need to reach their full potential.
Description
Urban Dove serves nearly 1,000 children, ages 7-18, from the South Bronx to East Harlem to Brooklyn. Using peer mentoring and a unique combination of recreation and education, Urban Dove programs have proven to be incredibly effective, with 98% of our teenagers graduating from high school and more than 90% going onto college.
