The Audubon Park Garden District's most anticipated fundraiser of the year is the Retro Modern Home Tour and we are currently looking for docents for the homes. Each docent will receive information on the home they are assigned to prior to the day of the tour, then once they are in their assigned home they will be available to answer questions, help the homeowner manage any crowding that might occur, ensure that guests leave closed doors and drawers closed, etc.
The Retro Modern Home Tour is perfect for lovers of architecture, mid century modern and interior design. Docents should be prepared to dress up for the event in everything from business casual to cocktail attire. Docents will check in the day of the event at 1603 East Winter Park Road, Orlando 32803 at 12:45 pm before being sent to their home where they will assist homeowners in a beautiful atmosphere.
The Retro Modern Home Tour is a fundraiser for the district's public art campaign. A portion of all ticket sales will go towards round two of our Endangered Florida Birds Mural Project.

We water plants, pick up litter, and work with all sorts of community members - from small businesses to area nonprofits, residents to property owners, the City of Orlando, and many more - all to keep up that support and enhance the specialness, which is the APGD.
Established in 2008, the Audubon Park Garden District is an accredited Orlando Main Street program and a subsidiary of the National Trust for Historic Preservation. One of eleven Orlando Main Street programs, the APGD works to enhance the neighborhood and support the indie spirit of the community.
