ORGANIZATION: The Arc Minnesota & Arc's Value Village

Ever wonder what Arc's Value Village does with all those donations that come in? You're invited to one of several special "Earth Day Sort-a-thons" at our stores. In celebration of Earth Day, volunteers will learn about the "life of a donation" and see our back-room processes including a close up look at our reuse and recycling program. Volunteers will help unpack and sort donations, place items on the sales floor and price tag merchandise.

Description

The Arc Minnesota is a statewide nonprofit organization that works to promote and protect the human rights of people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Arc helps people navigate systems while working to advance social change centered in justice, equity and belonging in community. Arc's Value Village is a public awareness and revenue generating vehicle for The Arc Minnesota. Arc's Value Village accepts clothing, housewares, art, media, books & related items and sells those items to the community.
