Wild Rivers Habitat for Humanity
Every item that is donated to the Wild Rivers Habitat for Humanity ReStore both furnishes a home and provides funds for Habitat's Home Builds. In this position, you will act as an intermediary between the donors and the customers, aiding in the intake and processing of donations at the ReStore. This role will include organizing new donations, issuing receipts to donors for their items, and preparing donations for the sales floor. This is a great opportunity to use your organizational skills while also helping a family create a home. The role will include heavy lifting of a variety of donations, at times over 50lbs. Flexible schedule averaging between 5-10 hours a week.
The ReStore is a discount department store, working with Wild Rivers Habitat for Humanity, a non-profit home-builder. The ReStore accepts donations of new and used building materials, furniture, appliances and other items. Then sells them to the public at discounted prices. Proceeds of the ReStore go back into the Habitat program, enabling us to help more low-income families to attain the dream of home ownership.
