Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with families in need to provide simple, decent, safe and affordable housing. This is made possible through the work of volunteers, donors and community partners. Through work on the construction site, not only are individuals working to create a home for a family in need they are able to learn construction skills that can be useful in their own lives, meet others in the spirit of partnership and community, as well as helps to spread the word about the need for adequate housing in this area and around the world.
Our Crew Leaders give instructions to their group for construction tasks, safety and cleanup. They also oversee group work throughout the day, monitoring quality and safety. The individual would report to Construction Manager for questions and material needs and report the progress of group work and any concerns at the end of the day.
Our build days are Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturdays from 8:30am-2:30pm. A crew leader could work any or all of these days.
