Kindred Hospice is proud to be a part of the "We Honor Veterans" program, established in 2001 by the Department of Veteran Affairs. Our mission is to create an inclusive culture where Veterans are comfortable sharing stories, experiences, & concerns during end of life care.
We are currently seeking Veteran individuals who are interested in volunteering with us to perform in community outreach activities which may include: Bedside salutes, presenting a pin honoring our patient’s service, delivering certificates of achievement, & offering companionship & socialization with the Hospice Veteran.
If you are a Veteran & interested in more information, please contact Andrea Leonard, Manager of Volunteer Services with Kindred Hospice at (573) 705-3475 or by email at andrea.leonard@kindredhospicecare.com
We look forward to hearing from you!
