Gentiva Hospice is proud to be a part of the "We Honor Veterans" program, established in 2001 by the Department of Veteran Affairs. Our mission is to create an inclusive culture where Veterans are comfortable sharing stories, experiences, & concerns during end of life care.
We are currently seeking Veteran individuals who are interested in volunteering with us to perform in community outreach activities which may include: Bedside salutes, presenting a pin honoring our patient’s service, delivering certificates of achievement, & we currently have an oportunity for you to offer companionship & socialization with a Hospice Veteran in Washington County.

Gentiva Hospice offers a specalized type of care for individuals who have been given a six month or less to live diagnosis. Gentiva Hospice offers help to our patients and their loved ones to take control of their life and their disease. Gentiva Hospice can take place in a variety of settings, and is designed to surround the patient and the family with the physical, emotional, and spiritual resources needed to make the most of every moment.
