Do you LOVE kids? Do you like to have fun? Sing songs? Get messy? Make memories for life? Change the lives of girls on a daily basis?

If you said yes to any of these questions than I have the perfect oppurtunity for you!

Camp Grove Point is currently looking to get some AMAZING volunteers to help put together a FABULOUS summer for our INCREDIBLE girls coming to camp, and we need YOU!

Camp is a LIFE CHANGING EXPERIENCE and can be incredible resume fader.

Camp will challenge you in ways you have never been challenged, provide you with memories you will never forget, and be the most fun you have all summer. At camp you will laugh a lot, cry a little (both happy and sad tears), change countless lives for the better, make friends for life, sing loud, act silly and most of all have a BLAST.

Here is the best part... It isn’t a crazy commitment. You can volunteer for as little as 1 week or as many as 5 weeks. I have opportunities for both day camp and resident camp. There is also a lot of flexibility so you can choose which week (or weeks!) you come, so you won’t have to miss your family vacation! On top of that we are hosting a weekend training before camp so you will gain so much knowledge that you can later put back into your classroom. Being a camp counselor has not only helped me to be a better person but a BETTER PROFESSIONAL.

Below is a list of qualifications and more information. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions or are interested!

Mission Statement

Girl Scouts builds girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place.

Description

Founded in 1912, Girl Scouts of the USA is the preeminent organization for girls with a current membership of 3.6 million girls and adults. Volunteers use their expertise, skills, interests, and life experience to shape fun and enriching leadership experiences for girls, and inspire them to reach their personal best. Volunteers help council staff facilitate the New Girl Scout Leadership Experience to girls through exciting program opportunities: leadership/self-esteem, financial literacy, travel, health/wellness, science, technology, engineering, and math. Volunteers choose from several flexible Pathways (the ways that girls and adults join Girl Scouting) that fit their lifestyles, including short-term or long-term service working either directly or indirectly with girls, and they can participate regionally, nationally, and internationally.
