Opportunity Description:
VITAS is looking for kind and caring people to help terminally ill patients and their families in the Galt area. Friendly visits, providing a listening ear and the gift of friendship at a crucial time can make a real difference in another’s life. Yours, too!
*An in-person interview and participating in a VITAS Volunteer orientation is required to help you learn the skills required to be an outstanding hospice volunteer. Volunteers who will be interacting with patients will also need to complete a 2-step TB test and pass a background check prior to being assigned to a patient. These are paid for by VITAS.
