DC SCORES, a non-profit organization and official community partner of D.C. United, is looking for the volunteers who can help to create a meaningful and fun experience for kids from across DC, and who can assist with our culminating event of the year, Jamboree.
Jamboree is DC SCORES` all-day soccer tournament and community festival for 3,000 kids and their families. This year it will take place on Saturday, June 1 for elementary schools and Saturday, June 8 for middle schools.
There will be tons of different ways to help: to run activity booths (which can include different kinds of arts and crafts activities), to set-up or to close the event, to take photos and videos, and more.
Our volunteer groups allow us to reach all of our participants in a single event and play a massive part in creating a safe, meaningful, and engaging experience for the kids. Volunteer shifts are available throughout the day between 7 AM - 4 PM.

Where every child - no matter their family circumstances - is empowered to find academic success and grow into an emotionally and physically healthy teen and adult. Where every neighborhood supports and celebrates its children and their accomplishments on and off the playing field.
