Mission Statement

Project Phoenix is a local Non Profit assisting families and individuals in our community who find themselves recovering from a devastating loss for various reasons.

Description

we are a local 501 (c) 3 Non profit that is strictly volunteer ran. We do many things in our community. Our main mission is to collect and distribute new and gently used household items to area families and individuals in need from a variety of reasons. Our clients range from the elderly on a limited fixed income who may just need a new frying pan ,domestic abuse victims, people recovering from homelessness etc. We do not charge for these items.Once people acquire housing that is where we step in and provide the essentials needed to have a conducive environment. We give away things ranging from simple silverware, bedding, bathroom and kitchen items, baby items, small appliances, up to furniture and larger appliances when available. Our clients are usually referred to us by other agencies. We work with over 40 agencies and Churches. We are very active in our community , last year were able to distribute 300 Easter baskets to area children in need, we threw an amazing Halloween Party and provided 75 Costumes. We were also lucky enough to provide a local ALF with Prom clothes for their Senior Citizens. We were able to deliver meals to 16 families for Thanksgiving. At Christmas we were able to Adopt 13 of our own families as well as assist Toys For Tots as an application center. We also have an outreach in the community to assist our local campers(homeless) We go 3xs a week to bring them supplies, we give out canned food, can openers, tents, tarps, hygiene products, clothes and charcoal briquettes .We also have a bicycle program to assist with transportation.
