Volunteer Museum Tour Guide for Tiffany Windows Tours
4 people are interested
The Tiffany Windows Education Center at Arlington Street Church is looking for volunteers to assist us this summer season as we open our doors to tourists and visitors. Arlington Street Church houses one of the most unique and incredible collections of Tiffany stained glass windows and will be open May-October for tours and events. We are recruiting friendly individuals to help us meet our growing visitor base and help support the expansion of our tour programs.
Volunteer Tour Guides will conduct historical tours of our building and collection of Tiffany windows. Tours usually last around twenty minutes but can be longer if the tour guide desires. No experience necessary, but comfort with public speaking a must. Historical information, script, and training will be provided.
We have three specific shifts we are looking fill:
Sundays: 1-4pm (every other Sunday)
With a direct view of the Boston Public Garden, the option to read or work on your own projects in your downtime, and flexible scheduling, this is a great volunteer opportunity for those looking to gain experience in the fields of art and public history, or those looking to spend their time among beautiful art and architecture.
To apply, email Alissa Butler at firstname.lastname@example.org
*Potential for internships and larger opportunities for college/graduate students if interested
