The Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County is recruiting volunteers for ongoing monthly days-of-service supporting the work of our nature gardens team! NHM's nature gardens offer engaging outdoor experiences for visitors of all ages, as well as provide habitat for birds, insects, and other local wildlife. We are looking for volunteers who are interested in getting their hands dirty with planting, pruning, mulching, weeding, and other garden care. Volunteers must be able to bend, crouch, stretch, stand/walk, lift, and perform light physical labor. No previous experience necessary, but PLEASE RSVP TO SECURE YOUR SPOT!

Days-of-service will take place on the FOURTH FRIDAY OF EACH MONTH from 9am - 12pm through 2020. We are now accepting reservations for FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 28. Please RSVP at least 48 hours in advance to ensure your ability to participate.

When you RSVP, please let us know your name, email address, and which date(s) you are interested in joining. Space is limited to 20 volunteers per session. Please email Volunteer Program Manager, Liz Andres, to save your spot (eandres@nhm.org). You will then receive additional information, and be asked to complete a one-time volunteer form to complete your registration. Please note that each participant will need to register individually (please do not register for a large group without contacting us to discuss those details beforehand).
