We have all the vol. we need. Please do not reply.
We need your help to run the Green Mobility Network Bike Valet at the Deering Seafood Festival, Sun., 31 Mar. We need help settting up from 0900 to noon, parking and retrieving bikes from 1000 to 1800, and taking down our racks, tent & enclosures from 1600 to 1900 (7 PM). We will be located at 7221 SW 168 St., just east of Old Cutler path. You will need to come by bike, be dropped off, or park at one of the Seafood Festival's overflow lots at Westminster School on SW 152 St. or PBVC at 18001 Old Cutler Rd. There is no car parking on site. When you reply, please advise what hours you wish to work i.e. 0900-1300, 1200-1600, or 1500-1900. GMN is a non-profit seeking to get people out of their cars to walk, bike & run. If you have a paper from your school that records your volunteer hours please bring it. Otherwise we will e-mail your vol. hours to whomever you wish.

We encourage bicycling, running, and walking for their own sake and for the increased personal health and community livability they can foster. We have made big strides raising the visibility of bicycling and the responsiveness of local government to both bicycle and pedestrian issues. Many of our volunteers report their hours for public service credit at their schools, and some keep coming back to help even after their obligations are filled. That's true public spirit, and we salute it.

- Good people skills to make patrons of this free service welcome. Ensure every bike has a ticket and every customer gets a coupon. May need to help people lift their bike onto the rack.
