Hospice Volunteers are needed to visit with patient's and their families in their homes. This volunteer opportunity would have the ability to provide friendly visits with patient's and their families; assist with light housekeeping and errands that the patient or family may need completed; feed, walk and play with any pets in the home; assist with yard work, including cutting the lawn, gardening; provide a comforting presence to the patient and their family. Our in- home hospice volunteers do not provide hands- on patient care.

The hospice program offers specialized care to eligible patients to enhance the time they spend with family and friends. Our skilled specialists provide care that addresses all aspects of a patient's illness as well as the patients physical, spiritual and emotional needs. From pain and symptom management to respite care for family members, the care we provide supports patient and family choices with respect, comfort and dignity. We address the patient's personal needs and symptoms to give them the greatest amount of independence possible. Our focus is improving the quality of life so that our patients an families can live their lives as fully as possible.
