ORGANIZATION: McLaren Hospice

Do you enjoy reminiscing, talking about current and past events, sharing and listening to stories from your youth... perhaps sharing a word search or crossword puzzle is enjoyable, providing caregiver relief for our patients families so that they can attend to their own appointments, run errands or simply enjoy a break from caregiving daily, McLaren Hospice is seeking in-home volunteers in your area. In-home volunteers take a "hands-off from direct care" approach, meaning we are there to provide a companion to your loved one while you are away for a short period of time. Additional duties may include light housekeeping, meal preparation, running errands. Covid protocols are followed. Online training will be provided, and we are flexible with you schedule. Please contact Sarah Foster, Volunteer Coordinator for additional information about this opportunity.
