Do you enjoy reminiscing, talking about current and past events, sharing and listening to stories from your youth... perhaps sharing a word search or crossword puzzle is enjoyable, providing caregiver relief for our patients families so that they can attend to their own appointments, run errands or simply enjoy a break from caregiving daily, McLaren Hospice is seeking in-home volunteers in your area. In-home volunteers take a "hands-off from direct care" approach, meaning we are there to provide a companion to your loved one while you are away for a short period of time. Additional duties may include light housekeeping, meal preparation, running errands. Covid protocols are followed. Online training will be provided, and we are flexible with you schedule.
