Do you like writing thank you cards and finding unique ways to show gratitude? Special Olympics Montana has the perfect volunteer opportunity for you!
Special Olympics Montana is looking for an Appreciation Coordinator to help recognize the volunteers and sponsors in the Five Valleys Area (Missoula, Hamilton, Polson, and surround communities).
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Prepare and distribute all thank you notes and letters as requested from the Area Management Team to all volunteers, athletes, donors, and sponsors involved with our mission.
- Work with the area director on history of thank you’s and identifying new methods of gratitude.
- Attend monthly Area Management Team meetings.
EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:
The ability to communicate effectively with others verbally and in writing. The Appreciation Coordinator understands the value of time and resources given by volunteers; enjoys writing and devising other creative ways to extend thanks; and likes to create signs, banners and posters. Must complete Class A volunteer application and screening process through Special Olympics Montana.
