Be a Cultural Tourism DC Ambassador during the Around the World Embassy Tour. This event is an exciting way to learn about the diplomatic community in DC and meet fellow Washingtonians!
The Around the World Embassy Tour features more than 40 embassies that open their doors to DC residents and visitors. Each embassy presents various aspects of cultural heritage including food, art, dance, fashion, music and more. Information booths located at Dupont Circle, Van Ness, and the National Cathedral are hubs for activity where volunteers guide participants to embassies throughout the day.

All volunteers serve as welcoming cultural ambassadors for one of the best international culture and heritage events in DC.

Cultural Tourism DC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to deliver memorable experiences and learning opportunities in the areas of heritage, international exchange, and humanities. Working in partnership with local government, business, and tourism agencies, the organization envisions Washington, DC as a city rich with diverse culture and heritage that generates civic pride and economic prosperity in neighborhoods. Cultural Tourism DC is a coalition of culture, heritage and community organizations. Through its celebrated signature programs, Cultural Tourism DC works to broaden, deepen, and diversify audiences for the arts in DC; audiences whose participation enriches the creative economy of the city. Cultural Tourism DC encourages metro-area residents and visitors to explore the authentic culture of the Nation's capital via the "DC Neighborhood Heritage Trails."
