On Saturday, June 1, CHR will hold a 1 mile walk and 5K run at the Promenade Shops at Evergreen Walk in South Windsor, capping off activities during Mental Health Awareness Month. Proceeds raised on June 1 will support CHR, the state’s most comprehensive, non-profit behavioral healthcare provider. Volunteers are needed for a range of jobs before, during and after the race and awards celebration.
We are looking for help with logistics with operating this event. We need help with:
- Directing runners to stay on route/parking attendants
- Minor vehicle traffic/runner safety
- Directing cars in the parking lot
- The registration desks
- Water stations
- Cheering on participants!
