The NCBG has 9 "signature events" each year (lectures, plant sales, and festivals), as well as a growing number of other special events. We are forming a volunteer team to help with things like wayfinding, parking, registration, seating guests, set up, clean up, and refreshments at these events. There will be a training that explains what is expected of each role.
Requirements: Volunteers need to be able to stand for several hours, work well with the public, think quickly, be flexible the day of the event, and be able to be outside in varying weather conditions. Note that many of these events take place on the weekends.
