The role of support coordinator has several facets, including acting as the liaison to the national organization in reporting and managing serious support issues involving hosted students and families, as well as working with the team liaisons to help them troubleshoot and manage issues that arise in placements, with the goal of keeping the student and family on track during the hosting experience. Due to COVID-19, this volunteer opportunity is done virtually.

Description
The Dayton Team of volunteers aims to promote intercultural learning through the placement of foreign exchange students in area high schools, as well as recruiting and preparing American students to study abroad. Our task is to provide support and activities for the students, and work with host families and natural parents to fully support our students and programs.
