Host an exchange student ! The AFS mission to create a more just and peaceful world only succeeds when we all come together as one to embrace our diversity. We welcome single-parent families, same-sex couples, empty-nesters and first-generation American families (just to name a few examples) just to see for themselves how fun and transformational hosting can be. All you need is a sense of warmth, kindness, and curiosity about a culture beyond your borders.

AFS works toward a more just and peaceful world by providing international and intercultural learning experiences to individuals, families, schools, and communities through a global volunteer partnership.
Description
The Dayton Team of volunteers aims to promote intercultural learning through the placement of foreign exchange students in area high schools, as well as recruiting and preparing American students to study abroad. Our task is to provide support and activities for the students, and work with host families and natural parents to fully support our students and programs.
