With the support of Habitat International, St. Vrain Habitat has a unique opportunity to host volunteers in a day of community engagement in the Glens Neighborhood of Dacono, CO with the Resident Coalition, The Pride of The Glens.
Volunteers are needed to do door-to-door Resident interviews using a Survey app on their smart-phone or tablet and walking list of addresses in order to get a clear vision of community perception in this area.
Data from this survey will be used to:
- Refine future interactions based on co-learning
- Share with community, donor, and partners for neighborhood planning
- Determine impacts of quality of life framework
- Establish a baseline evaluation for future surveys
Potential Data Collectors must:
- Be 18 years or older
- Have access to a smartphone or tablet to utilize in order to complete surveys
- Be able verify and note appointments, changes, comments, and questions
- Dress appropriately for the weather
- Be detail oriented, able to multi-task, and have strong communications community service skills
- Preferably be bilingual (English/Spanish)
Free t-shirts will be given to Data Collectors once the on-site orientation is completed.

Since 1988, Habitat for Humanity of the St. Vrain Valley has been building simple, decent, affordable homes for those in need throughout our community. The mission of Habitat for Humanity is "to put God’s love into action, bringing people together to build homes, communities and hope."
Description
Based in Longmont, Habitat for Humanity of the St. Vrain Valley has built 72 homes locally and 130 internationally. Our homes are sold to qualified family partners at cost with a no-profit mortgage. As homeowners repay their mortgage, the funds are invested into building more homes for deserving families. We select homeowner families based on their need for adequate shelter, their ability to pay for a Habitat home, and their willingness to partner with Habitat for Humanity, including taking financial and homeownership classes. All homeowners contribute "sweat equity"; they work in partnership with the affiliate and other volunteers, contributing up to 500 hours of volunteer service.
