The Teacher is responsible for running small group classes between Monday - Friday between 9:30 - 2:00 pm, hours are flexible within this time range (i.e. you can choose to teach one class for an hour or you can teach multiple classes between 9:30-2:00). This role is a hands on position that supports adults with a diagnosis of ASD to develop career skills, increase functional communication and social skills while preparing them for future vocational settings. The Teacher will be supported by Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), and is responsible for leading small group classes through the day. Classes are available to be taught between 9:30 - 2:00 pm and last between a thirty minutes to an hour.
