Knitting Volunteer Needed to Help Visually Impaired
ORGANIZATION: Lighthouse Vision Loss Education Center
Please visit the new page to apply.
The Lighthouse of Manasota is a nonprofit that serves the blind and visually impaired of all ages. We currently have need for a volunteer that knows how to knit. We have many 55+ visually impaired clients that still have an interest in knitting but need some extra help due to their visual impairment. One on one knitting with the client in their home will require a background check that Lighthouse will provide. Time can be scheduled based on the clients needs. Please contact Nicole Mobley at Lighthouse of Manasota for a volunteer application and interview. 941-359-1404, nicole.mobley@lighthouseofmanasota.org. Thank you!
