During the Spring and Summer months, RMFR is flooded with expectant cat, cats who recently gave birth, and litters of kittens. We need foster homes (maximum of 8 weeks) to foster expectant moms, new moms, litters, and stray kittens until they are old enough to be adopted out. If we have a foster home for the animal, we can take it. If we don't, we often can't take the animal, which leaves their future uncertain.
Fostering can be as little as 2 weeks, until a longer term foster home can be found, or there is room at the shelter.
