The American Heart Association’s Heart Ball- Night at the Derby is quickly approaching: Saturday, April 27 th at the Del Mar Racetrack 5:00pm-7:30pm. Heart Ball celebrates these efforts to build a foundation of health in our community and ensure everyone lives a longer healthier life. The evening festivities will include dinner, an opportunity to Open Your Heart and further support the mission and an exciting live auction.
We are looking for volunteers to help with the following:
Saturday, April 27 th 2019
- Day-Of Event Setup: 1:30pm-5:30pm
- Duties may include setting out signs, last minute décor, lifting items, setting out auction items, etc.
- Registration: 4:30pm-7pm
- Duties will include greeting guests, using laptops/ipads to check attendees in/out and ensure they have bidder #’s, programs, know where they are seated, etc., may need help as "runners" helping to hand items to attendees.
- Tear Down: 7:00pm-8:30pm
- Duties may include helping remove decoration, take down signage, and help packing items up
- All Afternoon: 1:30pm-8:30pm
- Duties may include setup, registration, and or tear down.
- Attire: Black, Business Attire (Black dress, slacks, etc.)
- Food: Dinner will be served to all volunteers.
