EmpowerThroughPlay is a nonprofit that collects new and used sneakers, cleats, and sporting equipment
for kids in refugee camps and war-torn countries in efforts to promote happiness, health, while raising
awareness for Exercise Therapy.
We’re looking to fill several ongoing volunteer positions. We have been growing fast and have several
areas in which we are expanding. This could be a great short or long-term opportunity for individuals who are interested in the following areas:

- Mental and Physical Health-related subjects
- Education
- Kinesiology
- Marketing/International Business
- Community/Cultural & Human Development
- Photography/Film
- Graphic Design
- Computer Science
- Public Relations
and other areas of concentration with transferable skills.

Areas of help needed:
 Administrative support (sending out/responding to emails)
 Fundraisers research, assisting and writing
 Relationship building
 Volunteer recruitment and management
 Utilize & post of social networks including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
 Office duties: bulk mailings, cold calls, database management
 Research potential donors and event partners
 Interest in photography as it applies to design and media
 Assist Portfolio Manager with organizing portfolio traffic, promos, etc.
 Other duties as assigned

Volunteers are expected to be:
 Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills
 Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
Dependable, adaptable, able to meet deadlines and work under pressure, able to work
independently &with groups; have access to internet and laptop
