We are in need of an individual who has an understanding of (or willingness to learn about) a commercial kitchen, food safety, and menu planning based off of our resources.
The individual will be entrusted with independently running the food service for approximately 25 people. Prep should begin at 2:30, food should be ready to serve at 3:45, and clean up should begin at 4:45. Finally, we are happy to hear menu ideas that will make meals better with higher nutritional value.
Mandatory training in general food safety will be provided followed by a brief shadowing period,

Description
The Salvation Army New Jersey Division has been assisting New Jersey residents since 1880. Services and programs include food for the hungry, companionship to the elderly and ill, clothing and shelter for the homeless, food pantry/feeding programs, opportunities for underprivileged children, relief for disaster victims, assistance for the disabled and many more services for those in need.
The Salvation Army New Jersey Division currently has 28 Corps Worship & Community Centers throughout the State, 65 Service Units, adult rehabilitation centers, a residential camp and an active Emergency Disaster Services program.
