Do you have a few hours a month to make a huge difference in someone’s life by assisting with household chores, organizing, meal preparation, and/or cleaning? A lovely lady living with ALS in Loxahatchee needs assistance in the home any day of the week, possibly in the evening, once or twice a month or once a week - depending on your schedule.
Becoming a Visiting Volunteer with The ALS Association Florida Chapter will bring you purpose and meaning. We require potential Visiting Volunteers to complete an online training process, including two reference checks, a short phone interview, and a background check. Volunteers assist with simple tasks of everyday living and are not allowed to help with medical or personal care, finances, or transportation.
If this unique opportunity interests you, please respond to this posting or contact Becky Ford, bford@alsafl.org, (813)637-9000 ext. 133, for further information. We hope you consider joining the team!
