Volunteer with the 2019 Tim Horton’s Ottawa Dragon Boat Festival!
North America’s largest Dragon Boat Festival is now recruiting volunteers from far and wide!
Located at Mooney’s Bay Beach in the nation’s capital, this event is the perfect way to start the summer. From June 20-23, 2019, two hundred teams from around the world will compete, and over 75,000 patrons will flood the grounds to be part of the action. With free concerts featuring 15 of Canada’s top musicians, a ton of artisans, amusement attractions, sports demos, and boatloads of family entertainment, there is a reason for everybody to get involved.
If you’re looking to up your festival game, or want an exciting way to get your volunteer hours, we’re hoping we can help you out! Choose as many as you wish from the list of 20+ positions, and become one of the more than 300 volunteers that have made this festival a summer staple in Ottawa for 25 years and counting.

The Tim Hortons Ottawa Dragon Boat Festival is North America's largest dragon boating festival taking place at Mooney’s Bay Park. The four day celebration offers free admission to multiple stages with world class programming, marquee concerts, amusement attractions, sports demonstrations, a variety of artisans, exhibitors, delicious culinary treats, beach-side bar, children’s area and non-stop racing. Description
Every year, many volunteers help make the Tim Hortons Ottawa Dragon Boat Festival the success that it is. Without the hard work and dedication of the volunteer team this event would not happen.
Volunteers are needed in a variety of areas on site during the event and leading up to the weekend itself. If you would like to join us for all of the fun and excitement, please follow the links on this page to register.
