Wyandotte County health outcomes rank last of all Kansas counties. Help us change that by growing more healthy food that's provided free of charge to area families.
You're invited to come plant, weed, mulch and harvest with us to make KCK a healthier place to live!
Volunteer shifts available:
Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays--9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Feel free to bring your own water bottle, gloves and tools.

For more than 20 years, CHWC has transformed vacant lots and blighted properties in Kansas City, KS, into thriving neighborhoods through building and renovating affordable homes for sale and for rent, providing homebuyer education, financial assistance and counseling, as well as community engagement through our arts studio and urban teaching farm.
Since 2002, CHWC has built, renovated or repaired over 500 homes, educated thousands of families, generated over $90,000,000 of capital investment in Wyandotte County Neighborhoods, and touched the lives of countless residents and volunteers through our arts, urban agriculture, and other community engagement efforts.

REQUIREMENTS
- Must be at least 18
- Minimum of two-hour shift for weekday volunteers.
- All work is outside. Please bring garden gloves and water. All other tools provided, but bringing your own tools is welcome. Must be able to bend, squat, stand, walk, etc.
