Independence, Family Services' day center for adults living with chronic mental illness located in Prince George's County, is looking for volunteers to help with administrative tasks. Volunteers are needed to help with filing, making copies, and organizing spaces and closets.
Independence is open Mondays-Fridays from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and is located at 7401 Forbes Blvd. in Lanham. To learn more about Family Services, Inc. and the Independence program, go to:

Volunteers can help for 2-3 hours, once a week, or more if available. This is a wonderful opportunity to gain administrative experience in the mental health field.
