Project New Yorker is looking for a volunteer Software Quality Assurance Instructor to teach no/low-income people in Jamaica Hillside, Queens. Classes will be held every Saturday and Sunday in the morning from 10:00AM-1:00PM (6 hrs/week) for 16 weeks.
Candidate must posses the following:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good listener and respond to student queries clearly.
- Must have the drive and passion for teaching.
- Prepare and review training materials and recommend changes based on type of instruction needed.
- Conduct research necessary to develop and revise training courses and prepare appropriate training catalogs.
- Tailor instruction based on the level of knowledge of the students.

Project New Yorker is a small emerging not-for-profit organization in Jamaica, Queens, NY. We provide tools, resources, and computer training to low-income immigrant and undocumented women and young girls living in New York City and help them to be self-sufficient.
