ORGANIZATION: The Salvation Army Alameda County

The Salvation Army, Alameda County, is looking for volunteers to help with clerical/office duties.

We are looking for volunteers to come and work with us throughout the week:
Monday through Thursday: 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

As a volunteer, your shifts can be very flexible. If you can't work a full 9AM to 3PM shift, but would still like to help, you may pick your days and/or work half shifts. We offer convenient times within the Monday through Thursday, 9AM to 3PM schedule.

Help us change lives at the County-level by volunteering as an Administrative Assistant.

Responsibilities Include:

  • General duties will entail working with Microsoft Office applications, printing and collating documents.
  • Some phone work may be required, like answering the phone or making phone calls.
  • Internet research, and completing any other assigned tasks in an efficient manner.
Skills Required
  • No previous experience required, we will train you on basic office duties
  • Basic computer skills needed
  • Pleasant manner, patience and dependability
  • Good Verbal and written communication skills
