Stevens Point-based nonprofit, conservation organization is looking for individuals to help assist with various tasks during our 40th Year Anniversary Open Woods event on May 18, 2019.

What is an Open Woods? It is an opportunity for Wisconsin Woodland Owners Association members to share their woods with neighboring woodland owners and the public for a few hours to tell their story of woodland ownership and how they care for their woods. It can be as simple as providing a walk in their woods with a forester or it can grow into a variety of activities to attract others.

We are looking for host sites, donations, and volunteers to assist in planning and during the event.

Possible tasks include: handing out brochures, recording number of visitors, setting up tables, handing flyers, directing parking, helping with craft programs, and many other possibilities (it all depends on what events the landowner has planned).
