What is Critter Fixers? We are a Springfield based nonprofit that provides access to affordable spay and neuter services. We are 100% volunteer based and have no paid employees. We currently offer a monthly transport to Sumner Spay Neuter Alliance in Gallatin. Currently transport is always on a Thursday. On transport day we meet at the Robertson County Fairgrounds at 6am. Clients start arriving with their pets at 630am. We must get them checked in, review paperwork, receive payments and make them feel at ease about leaving their fur babies with us. The bus from Sumner arrives at 7am, so we have approximately 30 minutes to process an average of 27 people. That’s right, we have about 1 minute and 11 seconds per person to ensure that paperwork is correct, collect a payment and make them feel welcomed and glad they came. Feeling overwhelmed already? Don’t worry, you got this!
