Volunteer with Jumpstart at BMAGIC's 14th Annual Literacy is Freedom Book Fair!
Jumpstart volunteers will be hosting a reading garden, helping facilitate activities, help transition children from activities, helping with set up and clean up. There will be more details leading up to the event! :)

Jumpstart is a national early education organization working toward the day every child in America enters school prepared to succeed.
Description
Jumpstart aims to close the gap in educational achievement between children from low-income communities and their wealthier peers, before that gap appears. In pursuit of this goal, Jumpstart recruits and trains college students, called Corps members, to help preschool-aged children in low-income neighborhoods develop the language, literacy, and social skills they need to succeed in kindergarten and beyond. Jumpstart inspires children to learn, young adults to teach and lead, families to become more involved in their children’s education, and communities to progress together.
